Fall/Winter 09:

Vollmar is touring the Northeast this November 13th through 22nd. See "Shows" for details.

It's been a thrill lately to perform some shows with Joe O'Connell of Elephant Micah on guitar, the old bro Nate on drums, and me hanging out in rootville plonkalizing...er, playing bass and singing. No recordings have been made of this line-up, BUT...

Vollmar is participating in Laminar Excursion Monthly, a 3" subscription service starting January 2010 and made available through the collaboration of Crossroads of America Records and Flannelgraph Records.

Spring 09:

Tell the Dirt (full-length 12" LP *300 run pressing*) is released by St. Ives, on April 21. As with all St. Ives releases, the package is hand assembled, consisting of a photo inside a shipping invoice envelope which is stuck onto the cover. The pictures, taken by William Winchester Clayor begin at day and end at night. That is, we took a picture every 15 seconds for 3 or 4 hours. So, if you have #1 of 300 you have the brightest. #300 of 300 is the darkest. See this * video.

The records are available here while there is personal stock, but following the St. Ives link above will work in the 'long run'. An MP3 version of the album is made available worldwide and in an unlimited fashion via itunes, emusic, amazon, etc.

Winter 08/09:

A 7" called New Best Friend is released by L'Animaux Tryst as part of a 7" subscription series. The Winter series contains two other 7"'s...one by Elepant Micah and the other by GHQ.

Also, please find "Campfire Songs" on archive.org. This is a live set recorded outside at The Beehive (Bloomington, IN), May 19, 2004.
